Our Pastor

    PASTOR20181.jpgPastor Rohan Simpson was born on the fabulous Island of Jamaica, in the parish of Portland, to Ms. Lucy Brown and Mr. Simeon Simpson. He was born a third generation Seventh-day Adventist,into a family of seven children, five boys and two girls.He is the first of a twin and the second pastor in the family, his twin brother Ryan Simpson, being the first. At an early age he was very active in the life of the church, serving as AYS Leader, Head Deacon, and Sabbath School Teacher.
    Sensing the conviction of God's calling upon his life, he matriculated in the Religion and Theology Department at Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica in 2001. In 2005 he transferred to La Sierra University in Riverside, California; divine providence guided when in 2006, he transferred to Oakwood University from which he graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology with an emphasis in Evangelism and a minor in Biblical Languages. His achievement also includes the prestigious Moseley Warren Homiletical award from the Department of Religion,for most outstanding student in biblical preaching. Pastor Simpson is currently pursuing the Master of Divinity (M.Div)at the Theological Seminaryat Liberty University.
    Pastor Simpson is happily married to the former Latoya Marshall and their union has produced two beautiful girls, Priya Chantaè Simpson and Peyton Charie Simpson. Pastor Simpson has a passion for advancing the kingdom of God and a hankering desire to lead His lost sheep back into the fold of safety. As such, his love for soul winning and his willingness to be used in heralding the gospel opened the door for a call to serve in the Northeastern Conference in 2008. Pastor Simpson is convinced that since God has sentenced him to life in the maximum security of ministry, he has no choice as to where he serves, whom he serves, or how he serves, for like Paul, he is a bond servant of God.
    While at Northern Caribbean University he was very active in the leadership and served as Student Chaplin for the University and Ministerial Association Vice President.Pastor Simpson enjoys cooking; and serving the physical food as a compliment to the spiritual. He currently serves as Pastor for the Victory Temple and the Pioneer Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Buffalo and Niagara Falls New York respectively. His philosophy is, "If only in vision you could see yourself the one God meant, you would never more be the one you are content".
